AIESEC Recruitment Drive- The Prelude

Ok, being my 1st time doing this I have done done a terrible mistake of deleting the post that I spend about 2 hours writing on. I don't want to curse my lappy because I know that this is all my mistake. Sad.....I need to rewrite again this thing. Anyway I'll just write what I can remember since my files in my brain have also have auto delete after some time. Well, my Mr. Cabby forgot about me today. Luckily I had back up. Called the Mr. Cabby and he called another friend to pick me up for class. I arrived 20 minutes before 8. He drove really fast. But reached safely. Phew! Kinda think of it i could ask my Mr. Cabby to come a few minutes later so I don't reach too early. Then I can have few minutes extra time to sleep. Yay! By the way, the gorgeous rain had poured its heavenly waters that cools the air and made my sleep even better. My dearie roommate went for class and by the time she got back I was still sleeping....Oh dear, am I turning in to you Becky?

This is the last day for our AIESEC Recruitment drive at the DK foyer. Kinda very slow now since all the guys are at Friday prayers and the girls might be sleeping before class at 3pm. We had a briefing last week about doing the RD this week. It was previously planned for a different date but since all the other societies doing it now. We don't want to loose the opportunity to attract students. The good thing is that we have over 200 people who signed up for our Malam Mesra. I really hope that they do attend our Malam Mesra.

Upon reaching the Konkos on the day of the briefing, I met Miss Susy Su from Beijing, an Intern for our RD. Our briefing supposed start at 6pm but we endend up people starting late. As a ritual in AIESEC, we always set expectations for this semester. This is to ensure our focuses in what we do. We can't simply do anything without having any goal. Makes sense? Come to think of it, it It does help managing practices and discussing your pieces with your teacher. Which reminds me, my Czerny is more than three months already. Time to speed things up. Meeting continues with the status of our Local Committee and the some things that we should know about the RD. Time flies and during the briefing I realized that I was fasting and didn't have anything to break fast at that time. Dear tummy please forgive me for neglecting you. I knew that I might collapse soon if I didn't have anything to munch with. So we headed to McD after the long session.

The fun stars when the whole school of AIESECers get together and starts to do all sorts of goofy things after everything is over. When else can you let down your hair. It must always happen in a group. Never alone. Ekun starts debating that onion rings should taste like rings and not onion. The argument comes from the french fries theory. French fries taste like fries and not french. Good argument but i still like my onion rings to taste like onion and not the rings on my finger. Well i might change my mind in the future.

Ekun and Miss Susy Su

Shin Yen, the angle that I took looks like I'm shorter that what I am. Yikes!

Ruby trying to focus on the Big Mac but I distracted her attention.......Sorry Ruby

A dude who is trying for a role in Dracula part 2

Serena Chan Chan which on that day felt like coming out of that 70's show. Nadia beside Ruby engaging in serious conversation.

The Zhe Rong-jerung is very sleepy but he still wants his ice-cream dipped french fries. Mom, if you're watching this, I didn't try this so don't freak out ok? Kinda like dad's style. Innovative. Hehe.

The more imaginative you are, the more creative person you'll be. As Dr. Hardy said that there is no fun in your life If you let go of your childhood. You'll be a more approachable person and like able. The key to presenting and talking to others are also to be approachable. So never underestimate yourself. Always be cool no matter what situation. Unless its unforgivable I suppose. RD continues.............
